INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS’ ROLE IN WORLD POLITICS CONTEXT THEORY & PRACTICE MOD5028M: International Organisations Student ID: Word count: 1975 International Organizations are an integral part of international relations in the 21st century playing a vital role in the world of politics today. International relations are carried out in a manner dictated by the existence of the international organizations which acts as the states’ actions vessel. Comprises of international institutions where they have the obligation of setting rules on expectations of states in terms of behavior and roles. The international organization's main role is ensuring that states have peace and ample security. However critics believe that international organizations are only concerned about their interest forgetting their role. Realists Marxists and liberalist among others help us understand various roles of international relations in the political world (International Organizations). International organizations are independent and have international laws that differ from the member states those whose rights have been violated. Liberalists view organizations as influential by measuring their economic status peace among other factors on the other hand realists believe that a state is powerful when it has greater power than others having security (Crockett 2012).
