CHINA IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR (Name) (Institution) China in The Second World War During the second World War China was among the earliest Allied powers to stand against the Axis powers. The Allies of the Second World War are the nations that fought the Axis powers in the war that existed from 1939 to 1945. The Allied powers sought to stop Japanese German and Italian aggression during the World War II. Even though China had a crucial contribution in the World War II it obtained less credit than the Soviet Union United States or Britain. The three parties only joined the World War II in August 1945 (Weinberg 2012). Much of the Chinese contribution towards the World War II was ignored after China’s conflict with Japan. It is worth to note that in the beginning of twentieth century China’s increasing wish for national autonomy increased against Japanese imperialism Japan and made efforts to strengthen its military and political ties with China. Together with the US support the Chinese war troops fought against Japan. Therefore based on the numerous Chinese lives that were lost and great values of properties destroyed the role of China in the World War II cannot be ignored. References Drea E. J. (2016).
