A section of Americans have been hiding a group of immigrants who are being searched by the police; they are forced to use force and intimidation while looking for illegal immigrants. In particular, this paper will discuss different theories and perspectives that try to explain why people would commit a crime. Learning from criminal theories help the justice system to understand why people would commit a crime and offer good judgment. When the girl crossed the border from Mexico to the United States, she was running to save her life. Being a minor, we can assume that she did not know the rules followed when crossing the border. The theory of Social learning proposes that people’s behaviors can be attained by observing and emulating others.

It states that learning is a cognitive process and it takes place in a social context and through observation, one can acquire various traits. There have been cases of people moving from Mexico to the United States illegally for so many years. American governments have been discouraging illegal immigrants because they are said to bring with them drugs and carry out illegal business. However, immigrants from Mexico have been managing to cross the border to the United States despite strict actions taken against them. Some parts of the world have so many crime scenes happening and thus people from those areas just find themselves into crime. The society might be related to crime because of the environment. For example, the social class which mainly constitutes of the ruling class keeps the other classes disadvantaged in terms of resource sharing and positions allocation.

Each country has its laws which enforce the interests of a state. Though, how the law is applied depends on society if it’s democratic, autocratic, or meritocratic. Different countries have different laws on migration. Many people from poorly governed countries try to escape to stable countries in search of a good environment to carry out business or in search of employment. As much as a country like the United States try to jail and deport the migrants, there are still more who flee from their country due to political instability, war and other political related problems. Some people argue that deportation is not enough punishment to stop the behavior of illegal migration. However, countries look at some of the issues like security when taking actions on crimes related to illegal immigration.
