Analysis of the Gettysburg Address

Logos Abraham Lincoln uses the appeal to logic/reason to convince his audience. Lincoln states that, “Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. ” In this statement Lincoln cites the historical facts on the civil war and uses them to question the need to continue with the war.
