That is the reason why most of the films used in different contexts seem different but, in some cases, they become similar to the others. Therefore, the aim of the essay is to compare and contrast Vik Muniz and Ai Weiwei as in the films "Wasteland" and "Never sorry" respectively. The key idea is to compare and outline similarities in both artists. The two films are important as they help one to comprehend what is in the minds of the artists when they are explaining the concepts used in the film. Therefore, it is through learning and analyzing the artists' mind which makes the reader understand the similarities and differences between the two artists. Muniz does so by featuring and employing them in his artwork so that he could promote his artwork as he also makes them raise their living standards.

Funny enough, Muniz participates in the artwork which makes him move from poverty to a different level in life. For instance, the artist decides to create a photographic portrait which is a composition of different materials. The portrait is created from scavenged garbage which was collected by the garbage collectors on the dumping center (Walker et al. p. The artist is said to have become an outcast from his success. In their society, Ai Weiwei has become an outcast following his success which is said to have brought him from very harsh life situation. This implies that the artist has been chased away from his community to another due to betrayal (Weiwei p. However, Weiwei's society seems to focus on punishing people without forgiving them.

The artist is seen being arrested in 2011 even though the officials of the Chinese government are seeing going to seek Weiwei in a public restaurant. For instance, while Muniz uses the materials obtained from garbage dumped in the sites, Weiwei uses computerized style to produce quality films which can attract and interest the audience when watching. Similarly, Muniz relies on the natural objects which motivate his artwork due to their creative nature. On the other hand, Weiwei relies on the inspirations of the social issues which surround him in the world to create awareness to the people. Apart from the differences that exist between the two artists, they are also similar in a way. For instance, both of them are survivors.
