Name: Tutor: Course: Date:Susquehanna River Fluvial Geomorphology What types of terraces are present in the Susquehanna Valley (erosional/depositional)? Be specific about the location of terraces. Susquehanna River is narrow but deepens when it reaches the lower levels and passes a complete sequence of bedrock canyons. Comprehensive sets of piedmont uplands commonly contain massive incised canyons. The gorge encompasses three different levels weathered raised points and bedrock porches which represents the remnants of degraded and older standards. The northern part of Susquehanna sink has repeatedly been glaciated and the sediments and glacial meltwater passed down Holtwood gorge and through Susquehanna River channel. Preceding terrace correlations alongside the subordinate Susquehanna River indicated seaward inclined peneplains uplifted a broad northeast to southwest trending elongated dome known as Westminster anticline or erosional surfaces arranged to ecstatically and tectonically produced Knick points. These interruptions arose due to textural criteria and systematic petrographic styles of changes in the landscape. But only a few investigations have succeeded in measuring the timing and the degree of the incision in fluvial bedrock (Pazzaglia and Gardner 87). For Susquehanna River the rate and time of information are already known. Studies indicate that the river has passive margins with carved long ways where the profile is convex upon reaching the lower levels. Order Description:
This is a take home exam! 5 questions. Attached with be the 3 papers that you will use to answer the questions and the paper with the questions Those papers will be the only thing that you need. Yes, a few of the papers are pretty long, but the answers are not hard to find. You can write the paper in essay form OR you can literally write the answer underneath the questions. Each question should be about 2 to 3 paragraphs give or take. So I am going to estimate maybe a 3 page paper.
