Document 1

The increased prevalence of the microbe in the hosts (fowls) suggests that a significant epidemiological reservoir is among the poultry group. Antimicrobial defines the various agents which are used in killing the disease-causing microorganisms. These medicines can be categorized into their distinct groups according to the microorganisms in which they act majorly against (Jostins. et al. On the other hand, microbial resistance defines the ability of organisms (microbes) to offer a resistance towards the medication that is applied in treating the microbe. The isolates were obtained from a sample of 53 species of the poultry products. This was aimed at representing the different producing companies in the country. Other materials which were used for inoculation included; • Viscera which was inoculated into 10 mL of Brain heart infusion broth.

• Tetrathionate broth which was later on inoculated into Rappaport-Vassiliadis broth. • Meat meal and swabs which was also inoculated into 1% buffered peptone water. On the other hand, the entire resistance to more than two antimicrobial drugs was found to exist among the isolates of Salmonella Enteritidis. This was on the strain obtained from the products of poultry (69. 81%), patients (28. 57%) and food samples the outbreak of Salmonellosis (44. Other results revealed that the highest resistance was found among the XN, STX, and SF while little or low resistance was found among the T, G, and STR. The prevalence of the data was seen as; • X1 which was observed in 79 strains of human beings, poultry products and food representing 82. • X2 representing 6. 25% was seen from isolates obtained from poultry products.

• X8 representing 5. 26% was seen from strains obtained from again poultry products. • Why did you choose this particular article to review? The chosen article I used was much reliable to me since it helps in providing all the necessary information required for the development of the paper. It contains extensive research on the issues at hand and the little data on the nature of these microbes and their relationship with the host. Conclusion. The knowledge of microbes and their different manifestation is an essential factor to have in pharmacology. It aids in well understanding of the organism and their effects on the host. Economic and Environmental Threats of Alien Plant, Animal and Microbe Invasions. SJ Pirt. Principles of Microbe and Cell Cultivation.
