OBESITY Name Institution Date Obesity is a disease that has ostensibly affected the young generation of the 21st century. Obesity is a body condition where a person has too much accumulation of fat in their body and this results in health complications. A person is considered to be obese if he/she has a bodyweight that is 20% much higher that than expected. Obesity shouldn’t be deemed to be in the same class as overweight. If a person has a body mass index (BMI) between 25 and 30 then that person is overweight (Ogden et al. 2014). An obese person on the other hand has a BMI higher than 30. The body mass index is a scientific health calculation that indicates the appropriate weight of a person depending on their height. In today’s dietary sector of the public schools you find substantial chocolate muffins pizza slices and other greasy foods authorities scrape off junk food from school cafeterias. Eating of junk foods also has a high linkage to anti-social behaviors because kids order already prepared junk foods while playing video games at home. References Barnet Sylvan Hugo A. Order Description:

Annotated Bibliography Classical Argument Position Paper Overview Close up of a typewriter with a piece of paper in it that says Words Have Power. The Annotated Bibliography is designed to give you practice in locating sources, evaluating sources, and listing sources correctly in a references list according to APA style. In Modules 6, 7, and 8, you will be working on the Classical Argument Assignment. For this module, you will not write a paper, but simply compile a reference list with annotations. It is suggested, but not necessary, that you select the topic you will argue in the Classical Argument Assignment. Follow the example at the bottom of the assignment. List each source in correct APA format and include a brief summary of the information you find in each source, along with a brief evaluation of the source. If you find a book or a long article, do not read the entire thing. Look at the chapters in the book to create a summary. Look for an abstract of the article, or for subtitled sections, or else just skim the article. If you find a good website, skim through it or look for a site map that lists the areas in the website and use that to create a summary. Read some of the information on the site to form an evaluation. Annotated Bibliography Your assignment is to prepare an annotated bibliography using APA documentation style. The assignment has two parts: the list of sources and the annotation for each source. The list of sources must contain: The subject of your research, which you must state at the top of the page. Seven sources of information about your subject, including: At least two articles from one or more databases in the Hunt Library At least one scholarly article. All sources correctly documented in APA style. The entire references list correctly formatted in APA style. Special note: Wikipedia is not an acceptable source for scholarly work. Do not use Wikipedia as a source for this or any academic assignment. The annotation for each source must contain: A short summary (1-3 sentences) of the information found in the source. An evaluation of the source's credibility, reliability, currency, possible bias, and usefulness with respect to your topic (2-3 sentences). This assignment cannot be revised. You are expected to use the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association to ensure your documentation is correct. If you have any questions, please contact your instructor for guidance. Example Review the following example. The words in italics (summary and evaluation) do not need to be in your work; they are here just for the clarity of the example. Subject: Homeschooling Bauer, S. W., & Wise, J. (2016). The well-trained mind: A guide to classical education (4th ed.). New York, NY: Norton. The authors discuss how homeschooling, by using the trivium method of education, can make children well-rounded. This method involves, in part, teaching grammar, logic and rhetoric at different stages The authors provide a plethora of information for anyone considering homeschooling, including suggested curricula, information on support groups and online resources (summary). This is a credible source written by two long-time educators with experience in homeschooling. This is a useful source for readers wanting to understand the benefits of homeschooling and the process to get started (evaluation). Submission Save your assignment using a naming convention that includes your first and last name and the activity number (or description). Do not add punctuation or special characters. Rubric
