United Nation has played a big role in pushing the idea of sustainable development. It has most especially invested most of its resources on creating awareness, developing individual attitudes and teaching the necessary skill to preserve the environment. For sustainable tourism development, it is required to create a reliable environment for wildlife to grow andprosper this, in turn, allows for nature to take care of its self for sustainability (Mondejar-Jimenez & Ferrari, 2014). An excellent example of an organization that has promoted sustainable tourism development is the United Nation World Tourism Organization whose headquarters is located in Madrid. One of the main objectives of this organization to sustain, improve and create a sustainable tourism network. Firstly, an organization play a role in ensuring safe and secure travels for tourists.

For sustainable development to be achieved, it is crucial to ensure the safety of all tourists. These organizations try to make it easier to travel by connecting various nations, promoting trade and help to facilitate seamless travel mechanism such as the use of visa. Secondly, they emphasize responsible travel. Responsible travel entails the respect and appreciation for the cultures, customs and way of life of the communities in a bid to enhance the social and economic interactions. Regional trade has also made it possible for participating nations to lift up high-security measures enhancing regional migration and hence improve on both domestic and international tourism. Networking. Some of these organizations such as the UN has the membership of almost all the countries worldwide.

This means that for each event, program or conference can be held in various destinations with the intent of exposing its individuals and representatives to multiple cultures. This, in turn, boosts the tourism of the nation by a given percentage. One of its policies is to preserve and conserve both nature and culture (Bricker, Black & Cottrell, 2013). Biodiversity has been dramatically affected by the man in various ways such as hunting, destroying of habitat and overfishing. Organizations have come up with conservancies to keep some of these species in the confined environment where they are safe. This has mainly been done to endangered species such as the bird. A good example is the International Anti-poaching Federation which is an NGO registered in Australia and does lots of its work in Africa has come up with military techniques to get rid of poachers (Bansal & Gautam, 2007).
