Research indicates that impact of cultures such as the manifest destiny on the U. S foreign policy and Dominican responses to United States actions are evident in the intervention and occupation of the Dominican Republic from 1916-1924(Shire & Laure,87-102). Thus, the elongated contemporary aspect of American culture including the manifest destiny prejudiced foreign policy pronouncements made by the U. S government during the occupation. Part II The “American” that most people have been taking for granted for many decades is factually putrefying at the moment.
