This comprises the study of the change in the global atmospheric conditions over the periods constituting of portions of more than 30 years. The issue of climate change has been shown by various studies to be a phenomenon that has been affecting human activities from as early as before even the industrial revolution. The study of the ancient civilation has shown that the indigenous people across the based their longstanding traditions and had their cultures political systems, and economies organized around seasons. In addition, these individuals used to keep track of the changes that occurred across the distinct years and through the decades so that they could be prepared for the future environmental changes to come. The last two seasons comprised of; short and discontinuous rainfall, and then the heavy precipitation. Water levels would slowly increase through the two seasons, and in the last one it would reach the maximum levels in the streams and rivers. Since the socieconomic activities of the community comprised of farming, fishing, hunting and gathering, they usually got affected by the seasons (Anonymous, 2015). For instance, type of fish caught and the fishing gear used, or even the place of fishing had to change depending on water levels.
