Burdell should go for Irmo Chapter 15: Explain in what ways reverse logistics management is more difficult than the management of more typical supply chain flows. In understanding reverse logistics, there are some facets and broad knowledge of management that is required. Reverse logistics entails the process of management concerning the re-use of products and materials. Consequently, it may lead to budget constraints and as such it lowers the company revenue. On the other hand, a more typical supply chain flow is usually a planned, consistent and a mandatory budgeted role in a company. Therefore, it is easy to undertake and execute in comparison to reverse logistics. In reverse logistics, the end product is determined by the customers. Hence, it is difficult to forecast.
