It is a reflection of societal behaviour and should as such be all inclusive and less discriminatory on the state’s subjects. Being the majority’s source of information the media is best placed to alter the peoples’ states of mind. It can thus be efficiently used to shape perceptions amongst a given population by incorporating media bias. Media bias is viewed as the partial or otherwise overstated reporting of ideas or events which may echo the views of a particular cluster of people and not the general population. The media can influence the public to view proposals events or schedules conservatively or liberally. It is contended that these media groups do not cover tasks fairly factually or wholly occasioning in a the means by which individual outlets cover these topics is entirely up to them.
