Analysis of the language/persuasiveness of a timely topic/world event

Select anopinion article on a timely topic (preferably a different topic than the one you chose for your persuasive essay). Explain and analyze the author’s method of persuasion. Explore how ideas are argued and presented towards characterizing the authors’ rhetorical strategy and arguing whether they succeeded or not. Use a scholarly article to credibly affirm, complicate or question the author’s persuasiveness.
