(Name) (Instructors’ name) (Course) (Date) Role Played By Bashar Al Assad Regime in Fuelling the Rise of ISIS Abstract This paper focuses on the key roles that the Syrian president Bashar Al-Assad played in the fueling the ISIS movement and its operations both in Syria and other countries. Who was to benefit from the existence of this movement the modes of interaction between the two sides and what were the roles and responsibilities of power in the Syrian country are also areas of discussions in this paper. Bashar Al Assad the Syrian president has along being seen and said to be the key reason behind the rise of the ISIS movement. This is because there are reported occasion that his regime is seen to be working hand in hand with the group. The United States president for example had come out and spoken about shifting of policies in the Syrian that power should be seen to resist any revolution in any given country at any cost. The Assad regime therefore is yet to show justice to the world and just compensate for the vast cost it has caused in its reign. Works cited Aman Mohammed M.
