This has affected the operations of most schools. CHAPTER ONE: INTRODUCTION 1. 1 Background of the study In the past, schools used manual methods for communication from one office to the other. It involved the movement from one office to the other which wasted a lot of time. After the advancement in technology, automated machines were introduced to ease the communication process. 3 Solution statement The problem of time wastage will be solved by the use of the automated system for the school. The reason is that the proposed system will perform its activities faster as compared to the manual method. This will increase the speed of working on the input to produce the desired output. The problem of inefficiency will be solved by making sure the advanced system uses resources effectively to produce the output.

Similarly, the proposed system will enhance solving complex operations in the school. For a growing school like the Clarion school for boys, there is a need to change the management system to the automated one to ease the operations of the school. Changing the management system does not only involve buying the computers and their peripherals but also involves identifying the appropriate architectural structure that fits the purpose (Clemons, & Weber, 1990). It can also be seen from the Clarion school the long time it took to advance technologically. Educating the staff on computer application packages is also a factor for the success of the Information System investment. Time is a determining factor to access how the technology has been effective to the office daily duties.

3 Measure and sample size The sample will involve 10 board members and 5 LTM consultancy company staffs. The member will be picked randomly for the purpose of conducting the experiment. 4 Materials The required materials will be computer and their devices such as printers. The computers will be used to test on how to transfer data from one computer to another. 5 Limitations of the study The study is likely to be faced with the following challenges: a) The time can be limited for the effective data collection and its implementation b) The process can be costly to get enough data and also its full implementation c) Lack of knowledge by respondents on technology could lead to inappropriate data collection.
