The article is written by Nikita Carney who argues that the youth of color played such an important role in the initiation of the Black Lives Matter debates in US. In the article. The writer examines the debate from a social media perspective especially Twitter. There has been an extensive struggle over the racism and race discourse across different nations including the United States. The article, therefore, analyses the two major sources of news: Fox News and CNN to understand the political spectrum in the nation. Fox News is selected since it is more conservative, while CNN News is leaning more to the left. The article concludes that there is much difference in the manner in which the news sources in the country present opinions and use them to impact responses and opinions of the viewers particularly on the Black Lives Matter debate.
