Name Instructor Course Date PART ONE The Age of Globalization Globalization is in simple terms defined as the processes of political social and economic assimilation that unanimously creates ties and hence aiding in positive life impacts in the world. This means that globalization is the way towards bridging world discriminations since it advocates for an all-inclusive development by leveling the trading ground. The article “When Borders Close” which was authored by Ruchir Sharma clearly reflects the role played by advocating for globalization or deglobalization. Globalization is therefore seen as an idea whose time has come because it plays the central role in advancing economic development through the world interconnectedness (Sharma 1). Through it the flow of people money and goods across borders and the technological advancements have increased and hence opening up the world for people to transact and do business freely. Discourse basically helps to depict the interdependency clear that the economic giants are currently opposing it and due to their lack of political will to implement policies which can encourage its prosperity; it has been exposed to its fall. In order to strengthen globalization it is important for the world organizations such International Monetary Fund (IMF) World Bank World Trade Organization (WTO) and International Trade Organization (ITO) among others to continue lobbying for ultimate globalization so as to ensure uniform economic growth worldwide.
