Memo To Carlos Institution Date TO: Carlos Brand Manager FROM: Bruno Alvarez Research Analyst DATE: November 24th 2017 SUBJECT: Recommendations on Solving Problems at Vitamin Extra Having disciplined meetings is based on the effectiveness of passing the message to the people. Therefore to ensure that the meetings become more disciplined a number of aspects should be put into perspective. First all meetings should start and stop at the agreed time and offer refreshments (DuBrin 2012). Starting the meeting at the agreed time and finishing at the agreed time helps to increase the concentration among the employees. Consequently offering time out for refreshments will meeting is dismissed. Huddling allows an informal meeting with a specific agenda that lasts less than 15 minutes. Therefore to solve the problem of lack of concentration and the use of gadgets during meetings this principle will be effective. Lastly critical feedback should be allowed. The aspect of critical feedback aims at providing divergent views on how various policies should be implemented or how the meeting should be carried out. If you allow critical feedback the employees will feel included in everything hence the morale will be maintained all through. Bruno Alvarez Reference DuBrin A. J. (2012). Essentials of management.
