Immediate effects are pleasant and unpleasant effects such as the sense of relaxation, happiness, calmness, increased anxiety, confusion, and hallucinations. On the other hand, physiological dependence, miscarriages, congenital disability, cross-tolerance, severe depression and liver damages are long-term effects associated with marijuana usage. in addition; young users may be impacted differently because of a critical period of brain maturation that occurs approximately at age 25. After reading the presentation, I have learned that marijuana use has negative implications and risk factors that are generally associated I have also realized that prolonged use of marijuana effects to congenital disability and liver damages. Therefore, I will use the knowledge to explore other effects of marijuana and how the usage impacts and reacts to the human system.
