This paper defines physician assisted suicide and acknowledges its importance in terminally ill patients. My three premises include defining euthanasia and relating to physician assisted suicide for individuals who are terminally ill. The paper also considers Brocks and Rachel’s Arguments on physician assisted suicide to draw conclusions. Thirdly, the paper would also consider Hb99 proposal on physician assisted suicide. I believe physician assisted suicide is a sensitive topic, especially for terminally ill patients who are in pain and the relatives who feel that they should be relieved of their illness. 8 indicates that medical professionals should never abandon patients when they realize that their conditions are incurable. They should be available to provide the patients with emotional support and must also ensure that they respect patient autonomy.

The proposal provides for the consent of all individuals who have an interest in the condition of the patient. Euthanasia gives patients the power to think and decide on their fate. Individuals who have had their relatives have euthanasia can attest to that ("Allow Death With Dignity, For There Is Respect For Life And Freedom"). Having the medications to terminate life will allow the patient to decide whether they can take the pain longer or not. Death is painful, and most people struggle before they die.
