Scholars and other opinion leaders have often conceded that the woman in America is yet to be at the same level in which the man is currently. Women are not treated the same way as men and the society in the US has been wired to treat women as an inferior gender. Women themselves have failed to empower their own considering the narratives that have been popularized in the country. In Lemonade Beyonce one of the leading music stars in the United States presents a visual album that rights is gaining popularity in the current period and with the input of popular figures like Beyonce it is apparent that the push for gender equality will soon attain its objectives. The Lemonade album plays a significant role in the efforts to empower women as it encourages positive change in the way they regard themselves. Clearly the album has encouraged the change in the way women view themselves in the current American society.
