Choose a book, on work of art, music or song, or a movie that means something to you. At least 3 pages. MLA format, a work cited page with at least two sources (one being the movie, book, art, music), and the sources must be cited in the essay. See the writing guide and the OWL in the resource section to check your format. Describe the work. Explain why this particular book, movie, music, art moves you. How did you discover it? Some possibilities to write about: What was the intention of the artist for that particular piece? What were the social/popular reviews for that piece? Research information about the piece of work. How did it change you? Why do you think it affected you in the way that it did? You will also want to address any other questions that interest you.
