He himself starts to descend from the sky implying that he had made his mind to surrender or had been made to do so. After this initial scene he had been handcuffed and being taken to an investigation unit. The editing had been done perfectly to correlate the first scene and the second one. One thing to be noted in the screenplay is fear. At some point he seems to be much aggressive than Superman. These depict the superiority of the guard and the character which has been assigned to him. Sound effects such as falling handcuff the interrupting sounds the tone exhibited by the guard had proved to enhance the scene. Direction and editing have a unique role in it.
