Student Name Course Unit Professor Date Adolescent Interview Jose Francisco is a 15 year old teenager residing in a lonely neighborhood near the state of Texas. I have not known him for a long time and the period is approximately 2 weeks. A college friend introduced me to him saying that Jose has very interesting stories to share about his life in our country. I made a phone call and we duly arranged to meet today 10th of November in the afternoon. Jose is a son to a single mother and a brother to a 7 year old sister. He is the first born in the family a reality that exposes him to numerous responsibilities. We met in the coastal city at a coffee cafe where the interview took place. Since i was looking forward to this interview I made a decision to do a face to face meet-up. That to enlist him in their devious ways. Jose says that he is currently comfortable with his life. His family is okay and he at least knows that life will proceed as it is. He describes himself as a person willing to explore the best of time and work hard under pressure free circumstances. He feels that is on the right track and it is only a matter of time before life gets better. In reference to the text most of young adolescents tend to have very limited view of their lives. They imagine that life is already okay and better things are ahead (Berger). Due to inexperience and naivety many adolescents will envision rosy dreams in the near future without critically analyze the practical factors that adorn the path of life.
