Climate can be easily referred to as the normal weather conditions that are exhibited in a particular place. Climate change on the other hand refers to changes in the weather patterns of a particular place(Maslin 36). A number of factors can be attributed to climate change as currently being witnessed. Some of the factors that cause climate change include: The earths distance from the sun volcano eruptions and combustion of fossil fuels by various human activities(Newman 78). Climate change is being experienced in most places but its effect is more evident in the north and south poles whereby greenhouse gases in the lower atmosphere. This can be achieved through capturing of the gases being released by action of the fossil fuels and then storing it underground for future use(Newman 196). Going forward a lot has to be done if global warming is to be regulated. Further actions need to be taken by the governments and other key stakeholders. Some of the activities include: Championing for the use of clean power by industries and various factories International climatic negotiations and lastly setting up of state and regional policies in regards to matters affecting global warming.
