Order Description:
Introduction: The evolution and development of Intelligent Building systems has shown a marked acceleration within the past five years and as a result the complexities of the design and integration techniques within building automation systems have become much more than the provision of discrete mechanical and electrical systems. Therefore the role of the building services engineer has become considerably more complex (and interesting) and as a result a more holistic approach in the design, implementation and management of intelligent building systems has become paramount. In order to achieve an understanding of this holistic approach this assignment has been designed to assess the students understanding of the technologies and techniques employed in iBuildings and consists of the following task Task Prepare a technical report outlining the design, construction, implementation and integration of 2 of the following systems that could be employed in production of an ‘Intelligent Building solution’ - DALI or IP addressable lighting systems -Energy monitoring and intelligent metering
