The Global Terrorism Index (2017) has defined terrorism as ‘threatening or actualizing the threat through use of great unlawful force and violence by an external entity with an aim of attaining political, economic, religious, or social control through exertion of intimidating, use of fear, or coercion among others. Among countries in the world, Iraq has been hit hard by terrorism resulting advance effects among its citizens and the economy.
A number of negative results have faced the country such as loss of property, untimely accidents leading to mass injuries and deaths. A number of institutions reports have reckoned that among terrorist groups, “Daesh” a state regulation emergent group as “the bloodiest organization’. (Rawabet Center for Research and Strategic Studies, 2016). Acts of terrorism in this country have advancely human and financial resources placing it at an edge of real collapse in the long run. Countries in terrorism hit countries have domestic security level in between 1o% and 2o%. The report point the estimate cost of the war is about $ 84 billion in Iraq with Libya coming third in cost estimates. The world has nearly lost $ 13. 6 trillion due to wars and conflicts experienced by countries in the Middle East not essentially on development projects or job creation but on fight against terrorism and peace restoration (Institute of Economics and Peace, 2016).
The terrorist organizations have really harvested the globalization process to improve on their operation methods.
