It is generally the prospect of feeling uncomfortable with the life situation. The provision of existential anxiety offers to be deeper than the fear itself such as the worries that one develops in coping with the situation during their livelihood. It drives the point of life being inherently pointless provided that there are limits and boundaries of this life and in such that we all have to die someday. The provision of existentialist anxiety has drawn attention for both religious and non-religious groups to reflect on it giving out views of concern. There are similarities as well as differences among religious existentialist like Frankl and non-religious existentialist like Irvin Yalom on their views on existential anxiety as discussed in the paper.

All in all, they are opinions that people have in respect to death. For both religious and non-religious existentialist they reflect and agree that existentialist anxiety is that realization of each one of us dying at the end, (Schwartz, 2018). In this manner, it means that the people have that notion that human beings are not immortal and thus will eventually face death either in the short term or long term period of their livelihood. The provision here is that the aspect of anxiety towards any problem is that one will undergo pain and which will eventually result to death. Through this, the existentialists have established the worry and questions of people who wonder if indeed they have to die, why the urge to live or exist in the world.

Differences Despair and helplessness versus dedication to cause: The occurrence of existentialist anxiety seems to contradict the belief of religious and non-religious thinkers. On the manner of of its effect, there is a differing opinion among these two great thinkers. According to religious thinkers like Frankl, people who are going through the state of helplessness and despair try hard to deny their own individuality through avoiding the anxiety existence and despair in their own livelihood, (Butenaite, et. al. Under this state, the provision is that a person tries to fight hard to dissociate themselves with the occurence of anxiety or its provision within their life so as not to continue indulging into that occurrence in the sense that it is not supposed to be happening.
