Alternatively, it can be termed as the process of enslaving people through coercion with an intention of exploiting them. There are reasons behind human trafficking across the globe. These include, but not limited to: forced labor, begging, domestic servitude, organ removal, and forced marriage. Smuggling of people across borders has tremendously increased and the most affected continent is Africa. The manuscript will venture into various reasons, effects, and remedies in a mid to bring sanctity to human dignity. It was horrible (Chuang 2017). Other causes that lead to human trafficking include; leaving a poverty-stricken place in anticipation of wealth, political conditions, war, and social and cultural practices. Human trafficking has a great impact on the social and psychological well-being of people as well as the country at large.

Sexual slavery contributes to mental torture more so to women hence affecting their social status and economic. Most families will be affected since the act causes imbalances where children are forced to lack parental love and guidance for the reason that either one of parents has been trafficked. Such actions combined with lobbying local policymakers especially government agencies dealing with human rights can be very effective. Secondly, creating and raising awareness in different platform preferably mass media concerning trafficking by informing the public of them being vigilant and extra-careful on the tricks of the traffickers can also be important in an effort to reduce this vice. Thirdly, people can be boycotting products or services of companies that tend to eradicate human trafficking.
