Leif Kamrud Professor Sam Savage Philosophy 10 16 October 2017 Cyber Security In this digital era one common problem the world is facing is cyber-crimes. Most cyber-attacks are aimed at inflicting damage or expropriate information from an organization public entity or singled out an individual with the purpose of theft or compromise networks for reputational harm or even compromise official or financial records of a firm. Cyber-attacks call for cybersecurity which can be described as the processes and measures are undertaken to protect networks systems and data from any cyber-crimes. An effective cybersecurity system is one that can identify any threats vulnerabilities or even possible risks to a system and then implement measures to mitigate the said risks. There have been numerous improvements in the digital world but all these evolving technology systems are problematic to ensuring cybersecurity because it is hard to keep up with the constantly evolving on by every one of us. If we stop being naïve and sharing data to strangers we would be done with Phishing. Once we get rid of one form of cybercrimes we can invest more in dealing with the rest. All in all information is power therefore keep checking on news about any cyber-crimes around and with that you will have known the threat and come up with a relevant solution to the problem. Below are comments from my instructor, please adhere to what he wants for changes. This draft is a very good start. You have compiled much pertinent information on cyber-crimes and cyber-security. Nice work. At the same time, it is important to establish a persuasive angle in your thesis. In it, include your position and the key points that support your position. Remember that this is a persuasive essay. So develop each supporting point and build an argument with each paragraph. You can adapt the paragraphs you already have, through explanation, to your persuasive intent.
