Name Professor Course Date Debate on Abortion Abortion is the act of terminating a pregnancy by expelling the fetus out of the uterus. Abortion is a controversial issue in the current society considering its frequency of occurrence and its legal cultural and religious status concerning the topic (Caruana). However some people argue that an embryo or a fetus is a human being with the right to life hence terminating a pregnancy should be treated similarly to murder. On the other hand others claim that women have their rights too on whether to carry a pregnancy or not (Kapparis 23-47). The reason as to why (2004): 729-737. Caruana Claudia. The Abortion Debate. You must present evidence for and evidence against. Then after you have presented BOTH sides, share which of the 2 sides you support and the reason why. (I am against abortion) Make sure you list at least ten sources to support each side. Be careful which sources you use. This is a college class and appropriate sources are necessary. Whereas you are not to cite Wikipedia, you can go to Wikipedia and find good sources in the articles on these issues. Do not use Google Search though. Also, link the sources to the information you gleaned from the sources.
