Some of the early warnings that can cause project failure include resistance to change, confusion among the employees and other stakeholders, poor communication and disagreements among the parties (Lee, 2015). NHS’ civilian IT is one of the projects that failed due to risks that exposed it to danger. Accordingly, setting targets and providing strategies of how to achieve such targets is important. The project managers will learn from the early signals that act as warnings to the project. NHS’ civilian IT project failed because the managers set goals they could not achieve. For this reason, the clients raised complains concerning. Accordingly, the managers were supposed to use this early warning to reevaluate the performance of the project. The relevant authorities did not prioritize on the IT systems that fitted their environments (Lee, 2015).
