Testing O2 Consumption Using Wingate Cycle Test Aim of the experiment To determine the aerobic power of the body Introduction For the testing O2 Consumption Using Wingate Cycle Test it can be described as the rate of effort a person can produce muscular work. To test O2 Consumption it is during an action where the force that is being generated is sufficient to force the person’s body mass (Ashok (2008). The anaerobic power depends on the rate of ATP and creatine phosphate that can be converted to the energy used for muscle contraction. The rate of energy spending can only be provided for about a maximum of ten seconds. The purpose of the lab conducted was to indirectly measure the anaerobic power and to test the dependability in Wingate Cycle anaerobic tests completed in the lab (Kavanagh & Jacobs 1988).
