Junto met at Alehouse every evening on Fridays. During this meetings, they discussed politics affecting them, philosophies and moral virtues in the community. Later, they decided to have secret and quiet meetings at a house of one of them who happened to be more well off. It was during their Junto secret meetings is when Benjamin Franklin suggested for a start of a public library. Each member of the group brought his books for the purpose of sharing with others and refer during debating. Franklin’s Quest for Moral Perfection Benjamin Franklin is considered to be among the founding fathers of America. This is adhered to his philosophy and quest for moral perfection. Much of it is shown by his outstanding quote, “Dost thou love life? Then do not squander time, for that is the stuff life is made of.
