Do you think health care in the US is adequate? Why or why not? The American healthcare system lacks a uniform health system and universal health care coverage. Recently, through the Affordable Care Act (ACA), U. S. health care enacted a reform requiring healthcare coverage for all Americans entirely aimed at improving care quality and delivery in the State. The current American healthcare system is a hybrid scheme with a variety of coverage options for American patients. The state of the current American healthcare system is also devastating given the increased health insurance premiums. Healthcare in America is inadequate due to the inequitable, overspecialized, and preventive care delivery. Given the high costs in the current healthcare system, it is apparent that American health care is inadequate.
