Name Professor’s Name Course Date The Old Guitarist The old guitarist is a fine work of art made by the great artist Pablo Picasso a Spanish who was born in 1881 and died in 1973. Pablo mainly worked in France during his painting years starting 1904. Pablo Picasso is probably the most celebrated name in the twentieth century because of his work in shaping modern art. During his career Pablo was responsible for more than 20 000 works of art that ranged from paintings to drawings to many other forms of art like sculptures ceramics and theater sets. The respect Picasso commanded from many artists was due to his fine pieces of art works that were produced in a variety of styles. Pablo was also the co-founder of the Cubist movement alongside Georges Braque. The movement changed the face of European painting in a bold way and affected other much as the emotions portrayed by the painting are clear. It is amazing how Pablo Picasso managed to use one painting to put across a wide range of messages to the audience. Even more captivating is how the artist managed to make it so easy for anybody who studies the painting to understand his message. He also managed to stick to the trends that he set very well like the blue era and yet still sticks to his theme and put across his message perfectly.
