Answer the following in a 800 word essay: Edith Hall notes that tragic choruses are either “space defenders” or “space invaders,” and that the choruses of both Aeschylus’ Eumenides and Sophocles’ Philoctetes are “space invaders.” Compare and contrast the ways that these two choruses (of the Eumenides and of the Philoctetes) invade space, in terms of their motives, means, and the results of this “space invasion.” Make a clear argument by constructing a clear thesis at the beginning.
