How are you going to apply what you learn from this article in your life, work, or nursing practice? One important lesson learnt from this article is that when it comes to cardiovascular diseases, there is ethnic disparities which I will work on to ensure that they are eliminated. One way of doing so is by raising public awareness on matters concerning race and ethnicity in the healthcare sector. This I believe will help community in increasing their knowledge on the causes and interventions of reducing these disparities. Additionally, people will be able to expand their insurance cover when they understand more on cardio vascular diseases on the African Americans. Also as a nurse, I will have enough knowledge concerning the causes of the diseases and ways to prevent it.
