It forms the basis of inclusion, understanding and mutual unity in any health group. The success and the viability of any health organization are determined by its quest and ability to be a whole inclusive in its setting without any discrimination whatsoever. Nursing leadership is the key people in the health sector that can play a lead role in the inclusion and maintenance of organizational diversity. Organizational diversity in the health field allows for total inclusiveness in the cultural values, ethnical groups, different races, religion and accommodating the diverse people in the health unit. Any organization that encourages multiculturalism is deemed to thrive and realize greater and exponential success (Registered Nurses Association of Ontario, 2007). Diverse working platforms have various roles in the patient outcome in the health institution.

The fact that there is diversity in the health unit ensures that the patients are treated with the people who understand them better. Issues related to the language barrier is greatly minimized and eradicated. The inclusion of people of different ethnical and racial background allows the patients to feel part of the health system and thus significantly reduce the issues with redundancy in the hospital setting. Current Recruitment and Retention Process Recruitment, especially in the health sector, should be done on the basis and idea that it should consider the retention process. In the health field, recruitment is just a process, but retention is a general concept that needs a total and well-stipulated plan. Loosing even a single person in the health field is a tiring process and can be very problematic in the health sector. Integration is a prime factor that supports and promotes the spirit of diversity and multiculturalism in the organization. This promotes unity and togetherness in the health sector. It also helps in eradicating any hate or discomfort in the work setting as everybody is well repented in the affairs and decision-making process in the organization.
