This happens as a consequence of sexual intercourse. The use of condoms and contraceptive pills happens to be the barrier method used in taking care that pregnancy is not emergent. The contraceptive pills contain synthetic sex hormones that are essential in preventing ovulation from taking place in women. There can also be the use of the coil that is responsible for preventing a fertilized ovum from getting implanted in the uterus. According to me it is the responsibility of both partners to ensure that they undertake safer sex as well as the use of contraceptives in order to prevent unplanned pregnancies. This is also vital for both partners to ensure that they can my views that contraceptives are necessary for preventing unwanted pregnancies. Conclusion Both partners should be responsible when discussing the use of contraceptives. Schools should teach sex education and provide guidance and counseling for the affected. The society should not make sex talk a taboo since it will increase the risk of unwanted pregnancies among the teens.
