Analyzing Heavy Metal as a Musical Style Student’s Name Institutional Affiliation Analyzing Heavy Metal as a Musical Style The music industry is diverse and includes a wide range of music styles and genres that listeners and fans relate to. Some of these genres or rather styles are appealing and invoke different forms of entertaining feelings in a person and others are annoying in many different ways ranging from the sound instrumentation to the whole artistry of the style. A favorite genre or a style of music or the most dislikeable style all boils down to a person's favorite and moves not only his or her physical being (Bayer 2016). On the topic of the most dislikeable music styles the heavy metal music never seems to miss on many people's lists. Heavy metal is a genre of rock music that was brought into life at around 1960s and it is goes beyond just making and listening to music to the lifestyle involves by fans and the music makers. From a perspective of a non-fan of the style of metal music it is more destructive than it is constructive and entertaining. References Bayer G. (Ed.). (2016). Heavy metal music in Britain.
