He feels that this ignorance is likely to be depicted in their work too as they ignore important details by deeming them invalid or unessential. Wiens’ zero tolerance to people who use poor grammar is attributed to the fact that good grammar speaks to a person’s credibility. In today’s world, communication mostly takes place over the internet with people sending e-mails for job applications and others acquiring important information from blog posts, company websites, and Facebook statuses. With this form of communication, words are everything that people have: they represent them in their physical absence. A person’s grammar orientation depicts the manner on which others judge them, which explains why Wiens feels very strongly about an individual’s personality based on their grammar.
