Budgets and Employee Morale
Document Type:Coursework
Subject Area:Business
The attitude and conduct of employees are affected by how the management puts in place different programs and policies on how they design their human resources strategy. The benefits of budgeting for an organization are realized depending on how effective they are applied to advance progression without compromising on other elements important for influencing performance. Application of budgetary tools in planning enhances performance by providing the roadmap for specific budget line items that are defined in advance to suit different organizational objectives. Nonetheless, budgets undermine the ability of an organization to exploit certain endeavors due to limited funding and unrealistic targets pegged on several initiatives within the workplace (Van der Voet, & Van de Walle, 2018). The strain people are exposed to while performing their duties requires them to take cognizance of the budget estimates hence subjecting them to an unnecessary pressure that might impair the morale and quality of their output (Kiefer, Hartley, Conway, & Briner, 2014).
