If these disorders are not treated in one’s childhood, it can have adverse effects on the person’s capacity to maintain a relationship or to hold a job. Behavioral problems may be temporary in some cases and may be due to stress. Stress in a child may be due to parents’ divorce, birth of a sibling or death of a family member. Some types of the behavior disorders that are more serious include disruptive behavioral disorders, anxiety disorders, pervasive developmental disorders dissociative disorders, and emotional disorders. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in a condition that causes impairment in a child’s ability to control impulsive behaviors and being prone to accidents. Children with this type of disorder may also begin using drugs at a very early age.
Childhood developmental disorders, also known as learning disorders are processing problems that are neurologically-based which may interfere which may interfere with a child’s ability to learn necessary skills. A child may find it difficult to learn how to read, write or math. This disorder, in some cases, can also affect other skills such as time planning, organization, abstract reasoning, attention and short-term and long-term memory.
