The teacher is not able to explain the cause of death and what happens after death. The story is written in first person narrative who is the teacher that describes how they have encountered death during their time in class. Death Invisibility The short story talks a lot about current deaths that are related to the school. The story starts by narrating the deaths of plants, tree, rescued animals but the eventual death reaches to a human with deaths of children, parents, and grandparents. In the first and the second paragraph, the story describes a long list of deaths which, includes trees, animal, plants, children, and adults is essential because it highlights death inevitability and pervasiveness in life. The narrator uses a conversational tone and edgy humour that helps the reader to understand the primary message of the story significantly.
