Name Tutor Course Date A play Iphigenia and Other Daughters Introduction I am Joseph Nelson. I am from California State. I’m a student who is taking a bachelor of video shooting and film production. I attended this play Iphigenia and Other Daughters at Sarah Lawrence College on the twenty-ninth and the thirtieth of October 2016. The play was directed by Ellen McLaughlin (McLaughlin 5). The play was awesome. All the character in the play were acting awesomely and their role was well presented to make it all around. The director did her work awesomely. I watched every bit of the play and took all the time to enjoy every moment in the play. The play also was well attended and the audience were all cheerful. It was priestess of the goddess. Forgiveness and reconciliation are also some main lessons that were portrayed in the play. Iphigenia and her brother forgive each other and solve their differences after her brother killed their mother. Iphigenia accepted to forgive him and the family was reconciled to move forward together (McLaughlin 5). After the reconciliation Iphigenia gave his brother an escape plan to run from his father. Iphigenia also forgave her father for tricking her. She decided to sacrifice herself instead but luckily the goddess decided to sacrifice the beer instead. In the play teamwork was greatly encouraged. Iphigenia and the “chorus” show a great deal on what the team that works together can produce.
