Unlike any other store, the Container Store only does two things to make this possible: use a wise selection process and applies Maslow's Hierarchy of Desires to form its basis of HR performance. Let's have a look at each. Container Store's collection process and how the process helped to form their success. The company takes into consideration lots of things before hiring the employee since the company is built on culture, the culture which is built upon the importance of hiring great people. The Store's selection process depends on loyalty and greatness, whereby; 1 average person equals 3 lousy people, 1 good person equals 3 average people, and one great person equals 3 good people. The general management of the Store tries every time to recognize everybody both formally and informally to make them feel recognized and acknowledged (esteem needs).
