Literature Review on Accounting Software in Australia Name University Date Literature Review on Accounting Software in Australia The company is situated in the suburb of Melbourne Australia. It is a small business with less than 20 employees. It has a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) his responsibility is to ensure that all accounting and financial aspects are carried out according to the companies regulations. The Financial controller who is required to report to the CFO his responsibilities include the management of daily income and expenses ledgers and assigning tasks to other accounting staff. Since the company is small it lacks division managers; therefore the controller has to create the different reports such as receivables payable and payroll by himself. Moreover the company only has one accountant who works together with the financial controller in tracking income administering the payroll and managing software that is easy to use bearing in mind that most accountants lack the IT knowledge. Finally there should be much emphasis being put in the matter of security to ensure that products placed on the market have the highest tolerance against fraudsters.
