The Case Narrative Name: Institution: Date: Course: The Case Narrative Introduction This case narrative will reveal the reading assessment of stage 1 Year 1 student Casey Audrey. This narrative will unravel Audrey’s early reading abilities by analyzing the various components necessary for the assessment of the reading and designing abilities. The assessment components used are collected by the ethics that are used in the case study for stage 1 readers. The data used in this case study include personal information of the student such as their background information and their attitudes towards reading and e-literacy. The data will also be obtained from a documented account containing the student’s reading and comprehension through oral recording. The analysis of the data used in this report will be based on the Board of Studies New South Wales English K-6 syllabus to identify the student’s strengths and the various needs of the running help I prefer incorporating close passage activities during reading lessons as an effort to help improve their semantic and syntactic cues. It is important to use conjunctions for example Audrey missed pronouncing “makes” and “shouts” while reading the text as evident in the running record.
